I would like to build a homemade fish pond in my garden but I was wondering where I could find these materials for inexpensive prices. I haven't gotten to check Lowe's or Home Depot yet but I'm guessing it will cost me a nice penny....so if anyone knows, thanks.

Walmart is way cheaper than petco, that’s all I know. And also, WCMs are good pond fish, if it doesn’t get too cold, and they skim the water so you don’t really need a skimmer if you get one of those. And they’re extremely cheap since they’re sold as feeder fish. They’re also entertaining to watch. : ) Good luck.

Menards had all of that very cheap—you just gotta buy the stuff “normal”—dont fall for stuff listed for ponds.
